Helping Hooves Equine Therapy Program

We NEED Volunteers!

Who can volunteer? Anyone age 14 and up can volunteer!

What do volunteers do? Volunteers are extremely important to therapeutic riding, They help catch, groom and tack the horses for lessons, they help by leading the horses in the lessons and by side-walking with our riders to insure a safe lesson.

Why volunteer? Why not? You will have fun, you will learn and you will feel great that you were able to help someone. Active volunteers are offered horseback riding lessons at a discount!

Do I need to know a lot about horses?  No, it would help if you do know how to handle a horse, but it is not required. We will teach you, volunteering is a great way to to learn about horses (without having to pay for it!)

How do I get started? Contact Ann then fill out the volunteer application below and send it in!

Can I Ride? Yes, non therapeutic lessons are also available!

Horses change lives. They give our young people confidence and self esteem. They provide peace and tranquility to troubled souls- they give us hope!
