        Announcements!

 Welcome Turner!

Helping Hooves welcomes a new horse! Turner is a 7 yr old Chestnut, 16hh Appendix Quarter Horse (Thoroughbred/Quarter Horse mix) that was donated by Stacia Lloyd of Norco, Ca. He has a wonderful disposition and will make a great therapeutic and school horse for our adults and teenagers!

Volunteers are offered lessons at a discount!

If you are an active volunteer, lessons are being offered at a discount rate for your hard work. They will be $30/hr instead of $50/hr! Western or English, beginner through intermediate. Bring another rider, pay $25 each! Contact Ann for more info!

       Volunteer Training to be announced!

It is mandatory for all new volunteers to come to a volunteer training class. In the class we will go over safety and you will be shown how to properly halter, groom, tack, sidewalk and lead a horse. Please bring a filled out the Volunteer Application with you if you have not already turned one in. Wear closed toed shoes; long pants and water is suggested. There will be an opportunity for you to watch a class and possibly help out before/after the training class. Please RSVP to Ann ASAP if you can come! Contact her at Ann@HelpingHooves.org or 310-697-6850.

                                               Help Helping Hooves!

We are looking for used tack and games at low prices or donated! Because of our low budget and recent start-up, we are looking for some help!
We are looking for western and English saddles, saddle pads, halters and leads, reins, cinches/girths, helmets, boots and any other equipment that could help us get these students riding!
Toys and games to help out the program are also needed. Small basketball hoop and soft balls, barrels and poles, plastic pool rings, plastic horseshoes, small stuffed animals, buckets ect.
Anything is very appreciated!

Please contact Ann 310-697-6850 or Ann@HelpingHooves.org if you would like to help out! Thank you!
